19th & 20th week
met the gynae last Friday. oh wait, before that.. i missed a post for week 19, didnt I?

19th week
okay, my pregnancy during the 19th week was quite okay. my appetite is back to normal.. plus the craving to eat more and more ice cream.. (oh man..)

then, i have this pain.. near the c-section area.. pain from inside.. luckily that i wasnt working Thursday & Friday (no one to baby sit Haariz) .. it hurts when i tried to walk & move around...

so on Friday, i ask the gynae whether this is normal.. she said yes.. (what?)..
its bcos of the scar.. inside.. trying to expand.. that cause the pain..

I've also asked a friend who'd had c-section for her first child, & vaginal birth for her second, she too felt the pain.. but it lasted only for a while.. ( I've already felt better compare to last Thursday.. )

I really hope to give birth 'naturally' this time (which according to this is possible) .. C-section hurts big time!
20th week
I'm officialy in my 20th week of pregnancy today. Baby is kicking most of the time. weight had increase .. (yikes!) for about 2kg since last month.. (blame it on the ice cream).. baby's weight is 364grams.

gender? .. well.. :)

ehehh..

It a(nother) boy!!.. InsyaAllah..

to summarize the whole 3 weeks..

16th week,
first time in my life, I had gastric. no appetite, vomiting & diarhea all at the same time.. & I ate the wrong food.! Doctor said.. I had too much of Lime!! .. I ate grill fish with LIME, I bake fish pie with LIME, I ate too much of oranges as well (hey, its the Chinese New Year!!)

17th week,
I can eat! .. finally!.. :P .. & psst.. i have a tummy!!.. & I can already feel the baby kicking .. :)

18th week,
hey, I'm still in my 18th week!.. I think I have gain some wheight. I did loose .5kg last weeks.. but I think I have gain some back :P
lately I've got this pain around my belly everytime i walk.. meaning, I cant walk that much. when it comes to weekend.. I rather stay at home than go shopping or .. anywhere! .. But still we nanage to bring haariz to the park during the weekend.. ( hehe.. I just sit & watch from far! ..ehehe)

I couldnt fit into my prepregnancy shirts anymore!.. everything is just too tight.. luckily I have some oversize shirts.. but i think, it does look ugly to wear oversize shirt huh? I think i'll put on the penguin suit (maternity blouse la..) next week..

Fetal development in pregnancy week 18:
fetus in fifth month We have two more ounces! Your "getting bigger-n-better by the minute baby" is already up to 7 ounces and 6 inches! This is a big week for their baby skin. There are now two distinct layers—the epidermis (or the surface skin) and dermis. Currently, their skin is covered with a greasy, waxy, cheese-like substance, known as vernix caseosa. Sure, it sounds pretty nasty, but this mixture of fatty secretions covering your little swimmer from head to toe is the best way to protect their oh-so-thin skin from bruising and abrasions as well as chapping caused by amniotic fluid exposure (and your little one is swimming in that stuff!). Still don’t like the fact your little darling is currently slathered in fatty cream like a greased pig? Well, you know the birthing process? Where you have to push something the size of a watermelon out a hole the size of a grape? That adorable little greased piglet would have a lot harder time getting through the birth canal without the vernix caseosa. Fun fact for momma’s with baby girls: it’s a uterus within a uterus! Your little girl will have developed a uterus and vagina canal by the end of this week.

Your Baby's Development
Ears move to their final position and they stand out from the head. And start brushing up on your lullabies — in the coming weeks, your baby will probably be able to hear! The bones of the middle ear and the nerve endings from the brain are developing so that your baby will hear sounds such as your heartbeat and blood moving through the umbilical cord. He or she may even be startled by loud noises! Your baby's eyes are also developing — they're now facing forward rather than to the sides, and the retinas may be able to detect the beam of a flashlight if you hold it to your abdomen.
Until now, your baby's bones had been developing but were still soft. This week, they begin to harden, or ossify. Some of the first bones to ossify are those in the clavicles and the legs.
mommy's development:

And how's mom doing? POP! If you haven’t yet, you will soon be seeing the last of your inn-y belly button—until after you’ve pushed your little monkey out. If it’s getting difficult to breathe, you can thank your not-so-small belly for squishing your lungs—which will be more and more cramped for space as the pregnancy is surprising as everything else in your mid-section is getting properly squooshed as well. (What else is new?!!). Keep in mind that as you grow (and grow and grow) in size you produce more blood (for both of you), which lowers your blood pressure. So standing up quickly and/or occasional fast movements may cause slight dizziness or lightheadedness. This is totally normal, but means you shouldn’t be too quick to jump to your feet when your team scores a goal—better to just punch the air in excitement or clap gleefully. One more fun pregnancy symptom to add to the list: you are producing more melanin, which can cause dark patches of skin to occur on random parts of your body. Don’t worry—these dark spots (unlike your parent’s age spots) will retreat soon after birth
You're probably beginning to prepare for life with baby. Your preparations should extend beyond gathering the layette and decorating the nursery, though. This is a good week to begin your search for a pediatrician or other health care provider for your child. Schedule visits to meet with potential doctors to discuss issues such as appointment availability, immunization scheduling, and when to call in an emergency. You'll also want to learn as much as you can about their practices and procedures.
Some good questions to ask: How many health care providers are in the practice? Who covers nights and weekends? What is their policy on phone calls? Which hospitals are they affiliated with? What insurance do they accept? What specialists do they work with? How are emergencies handled?
It's important that you feel comfortable with your child's doctor, so do your homework and make your decision carefully
